The times that I am limited a calculator in other classes, it is typically limited all the way down to 4 function or basic trig functions, which your 84 wouldn't work for anyways. I was never able to use a calculator in any of my math classes minus linear algebra. I frequently use it to test math rules that don't come up very often, or to make sure I'm not making a simple mistake (ease the nerve on whether the integral of sin is cos or -cos) in a stressful time limited environment.

You will still likely need to show your work integrating but at most you get a couple points counted off, and you may even get full credit. Because of this some teachers aren't even aware that there are calculators that can do it so they don't place any restrictions on it.
There may be teachers who say no to it because it can integrate completely variable equations, which is fairly new technology (at least in handheld calculators). Most teachers I have had are either 100% no calculator, or 100% for a calculator depending on what the test is on. Some teachers may frown upon it for tests, but a lot of teachers don't even know what it is capable of so they see it as any other graphing calculator.

When it comes to engineering work, its an absolute breeze in the professional world. You can then load up your work via usb, and continue on the calculator, save what you did on the calculator and then return to the computer.

Probably the coolest thing is that it comes with a software that you can load into your computer and it is essentially and emulator for the calculator and you can do everything that you would do on the calculator with a computer so you can program with an actual keyboard and mouse. It comes with quite a few built in functions as well. The thing can also curve fit to pictures and integrate and derive full variable equations. The thing uses a "document" type interface so you add "pages" of spreadsheets (which you can buy sensors to fill the spreadsheets with data) word documents, and calculation pads. If you are proficient in programming, you can write entire libraries of functions and programs with documentation included with them.
